Tweak your dual band Wireless Advanced Settings for better downloads and uploads speed

You can optimize your wireless connection for both a single router in a network and/or multiple routers setup as a wireless client bridge. This is fairly easy todo. With just a few minor changes to your wireless settings, you'll be able to optimize your connection speed.

For single Router networks
If you have a single router in your network, log into your web GUI (http://192.168.1.1). Login with your username and password and navigate to Wireless > Basic Settings.

Under your 2.4GHz wireless band settings, locate "Wireless Network Mode" and change that to NG-Mixed. For "Channel Width" select 40MHz.

Under your 5GHz wireless band settings, locate "Wireless Network Mode" and change that to NA-Mixed. For "Channel Width" select 40Mhz.

Click Save > Apply Settings. Once the settings have been applied, navigate to Administration > Management and click Reboot Router. It's always a good idea to reboot your router after making changes. Upon restart, check your connection speed, I like to use speedtest.net.

For Multiple Routers, you apply the same settings on all devices, the only difference is you have a wireless client bridge, make sure you reconnect to your wireless upon restart. To do that, navigate to Status > Wireless and click Site Survey > and select your wireless.
